The Faculty of Technology and Natural Resources of Bu-Ali Sina University was established in 2010 to train skilled and professional individuals in various engineering and technological disciplines with the kind  endeavors of Mr Naser Bahri Esfehani  and since then, it has been engaged with the advancement of the educational competencies of the students. To elevate and invest in the level of education, research and service related activities in engineering, a certain amount of sensibility and creativity is needed alongside the employment of innovative manner. The general approach towards the establishment of this satellite college, particularly in the city of Touyserkan, was to educate human resources at BA level to advance the planning, production, handling, conversion and conservation of agricultural produce for a day to day increasing nationwide demand.

The educational programs of the Touyserkan Faculty of Technology and Natural Resources were initiated from October 2010 by admitting 30 students in an engineering program and continued in the years to come in the following manner:

Computer Engineering with 35 students enrolled. (Oct 2011.)

Food Industry Engineering with 30 students enrolled. (Oct 2013.)

Ever since its establishment, the faculty has had 85 graduates at BSc level in a variety of programs. The researches implemented by the faculty members have had substantial effects on the proper planning regarding the production and handling of food in executive institutions and also on the increase of agricultural produce.

In 2006, construction of an adjacent building was implemented under the authority of Mr Mohammad Zolfaghari as the Faculty of Natural Resources with a total area of 11000 m2 and currently, part of the project is being completed as the cafeteria and will be added to the university campus shortly.

The faculty currently (July 2017) has about 500 active students in 3 educational programs.
